Because I'm not that observant and because I haven't played poker in a Washington casino in a couple of years, I hadn't noticed until today that Federal Way's PJ Pockets Casino closed more than a year ago, on January 31. My lack of observation extends to the fact that Fife's Freddie's Club closed on June 17.Also closed since I last updated the blog: Bowlero Lanes (September 19, 2011)
According to the state gambling commission, there are currently 59 house banked cardrooms in the state. A little over three years ago, there were 73.
